If your android's battery is draining when you are using it, it seems ok and the reason is understood. But if the battery drains even when you don't much use it, then its really annoying. The reason behind this is that the apps continuously remain in memory even in standby.
Most of these apps are meaningless usually, so its better to have an app that will automatically kill it as soon as they starts. Exact same thing is done by the Advanced task manager. You can check the apps that automatically starts and occupies memory and processor. Then, you can enable auto kill, so that while your phone is in standby, the application doesn't consume valuable battery.
